Christmas is Coming!
It’s the beginning of December, in the library we’re preparing for the month ahead, and beyond.
While term will continue for another few weeks, we’re planning our opening hours over the Christmas and Exam period in January.
For the moment, we’ll be running our usual term-time opening hours for the Yeats Library building:
- Monday – Thursday: 9.00 – 21.00
- Friday: 9.00 – 17.00
- Saturday: 10.00 – 14.00
We’ll also continue our LibChat term hours:
- Monday – Friday: 10.00 12.00 and 14.00 – 16.00
We’ll let you know when we close for the Christmas break, when we open in January and any other information in our next post.
The Scrimshaw Journal
The award-winning, student-led Scrimshaw Journal is calling for contributions for its third issue. They are looking for new an unpublished work on any theme. Please submit in one of the following formats:
- Stories: up to 2,00 words
- Poems
- Artwork: in a high-resolution, digital format.
Please do not send pieces that are already submitted elsewhere.
Submissions from all staff, students and alumni of the ATU are welcome.
The closing date: 3rd December 2023.
Lost Property
Have you lost anything in the library recently? or maybe just outside it?
We keep a Lost property box at the Library Desk each semester. Each term personal items from chargers to coats to headphones are handed into us.
If you are missing something, please check with us before the end of the semester.
Other places that keep Lost property boxes are the Students Union and the Security Office.
