Where can I find a print copies of theses?
Our research collection is located on the Quiet Zone (upper floor) of the Library.
The postgraduate degrees are shelved by author, firstly the Ph.D.s, then the Masters.
The undergraduate degrees and diplomas are shelved by school.

You can use the Library Catalogue to search by keyword/subject and then filter by location “ATU, Sligo Research Collection”.

You can use Search + Find to search by keyword/subject and then filter by location to “Yeats Library – ATU, Sligo Research Collection”.
Where can I find electronic copies of theses?
The Library Catalogue includes links to theses which are only available electronically.
Any electronic copies of undergraduate dissertations are also linked through the catalogued from this website.
Postgraduate theses can be found using Research@Thea, which is the Institutional Repository for all Institutes of Technology and TUs. It is possible to search the repository by college, author, title, subject, department, supervisor and school.
What is an Institutional Repository?
An Institutional Repository is an online collection of the academic work of a college/university. It can include theses, journal articles, book chapters, technical reports, research data or conference papers. Journal articles can be either preprint or postprint articles, depending on the licence agreements with publishers.
Preprint Article: An article that has not been through the peer review process yet. A publisher has not yet accepted it for printing.
Postprint Article: An article that has been peer reviewed and accepted by a publisher for printing.
