You are all welcome to the new semester. Your library visits will be a combination of on campus visits and using your library resources online. Whatever is most effective for you we are available to support you through the term.
Using library services and study spaces
The library will be open 9am – 9pm Monday – Thursday and 9am – 5pm on Fridays for the first weeks of the semester.

You are welcome to book rooms, study spaces, computer workstations, printers, and photocopiers to conduct research and study. Face coverings must be worn at all times and your library visit must be booked in advance. Booking Instructions
Guides to our services
On campus students can browse the shelves and borrow books through the Quick Check during their prebooked visit to the library
We also offer a click and collect service which includes postal loans
We have been purchasing electronic copies of core texts so check Eolas you may find an ebook link. Ebook Guide
Inter library loans
We can purchase journal articles for dissertation students if they are not available in our databases or through Open Access.

Our library team includes experienced staff who will assist with your queries and 5 dedicated school liaison librarians. We provide interactive online advice by appointment along with recorded tutorials and information literacy sessions to class groups.
Referencing and citing tools:
Cite them right on the library home page will help you understand referencing and how to build references.
Consider setting up an EndNote account, it takes a bit of practice but can save you time overall. The reference management software takes care of your intext references and generates your bibliography in ITS Harvard Style or other referencing styles, depending on your department.
